International Women’s Day 2023

At Severn Trent Services we love to support and celebrate International Women’s Day. Severn Trent currently ranks in the top 20 in the UK for gender equality (Equileap’s 2022 Gender Equality Global Report) and it’s incredibly important to continue championing it in our workplace. Tony’s tours at Dawdon mine water treatment plant

Tony Keeney is a water maintenance technician. He works for Oren Environmental, which is part of Severn Trent Services. On behalf of the Coal Authority, he manages the day-to-day operations at Dawdon mine water treatment plant in County Durham. A job he’s done for longer than 14 years.

It’s transformation Tuesday every day for Teresa and Pete

Severn Trent Services looks after thousands of water and wastewater assets for customers across the UK.

Over and above making sure they’re working properly; customers are also promised that assets are left in a better condition than when the team found them.

Making sure this promise becomes a reality is the job of many. However, spearheading the Asset Condition Grading (ACG) Programme is Teresa Halliday (Reporting Lead), Pete Dignan (Strategy Engineer), and Mark Waite (Systems Analyst).
