Meet Andrew Field, our new Business Development Manager

Severn Trent Water Hygiene have exciting plans in-the-works for the future of water safety training services. In order to bring these plans to life, we’re investing in a dedicated Business Development Manager. We’re delighted to announce that Andrew Field has joined Severn Trent Water Hygiene to help deliver innovative training solutions.

About Andrew

With three decades experience in the world of training and development, Andrew is an expert in delivering unique educational experiences tailored to the needs of learners. He has a broad base of competence managing multiple mediums including classroom, coaching, mentoring and e-learning.

While Andrew values the importance of classroom training, he believes a blended approach is the best way of teaching. Modern advances in mobile technology allows field-based staff to fit training and development around their responsibilities. Digital learning complements traditional methods and allows learners to learn as and when new skills and accreditations are required.

“We have an opportunity to maximise learning efficiency by using a blended approach. Leveraging technology, we can bring learning to the learner, maximising value for our customers.”

Efficient use of technology can also make more better use of trainers’ time and attention. They can distribute their support more effectively, allowing advanced learners to proceed at a pace whilst providing bespoke support for beginners.
