What does your main job role entail?
I am the Senior Field Tech for the Central area.
What was your first role here at Severn Trent and has it changed?
I started as a Field tech when the business was called C2C, the business has gone through a few name changes but the work and role hasn’t changed very much as the assets and sites we look after are still the same. I got the Senior Field Tech role in autumn 2021.
What’s the best thing about working for Severn Trent Services?
I work in the OPS part of the business working on MOD sites. The flexibility, variety and being outdoors are a few of the best things about working for Severn Trent.
What is your proudest personal moment?
The birth of my 2 sons, now aged 4 and 10
If you could name one individual who’s helped you over the years, who would they be and why?
Darren Sargent is a fellow field tech and started the same time as me 12 years ago. We have shared plenty of laughs, frustrations and coffee’s as he loves a café.
What has been your most memorable moment working for Severn Trent Services?
I was involved and contributed to STS winning multiple ROSPA gold awards for H&S in the past which was a great achievement and the awards ceremonies were brilliant for acknowledging our efforts.
