New software to help maintain industry-leading leakage performance

Severn Trent Services, specialists in water and wastewater asset management, will start to use Waternet software in 2024 – provided by RPS (a Tetra Tech company) – a leading provider of consulting and engineering services worldwide.

Waternet software is designed to provide a more efficient way for us to monitor, report, and charge for our customer’s water consumption. It will replace multiple existing systems and dramatically reduce the time it takes to collect and analyse water volumes.

Severn Trent Searches hosts the Giving Tree for Christmas

The Severn Trent Searches team, which provides searches and reports for conveyancing, has been busy collecting Christmas presents for children who have fled their homes due to domestic abuse.

The Severn Trent Searches head office in Nottingham has been a Giving Tree Collection Point for the KidsOut charity. This means that employees, as well as local businesses, have been able to leave a Christmas present for children seeking safety in a refuge. The presents are stored securely in the office before being distributed to the children during the holiday season.

Twelve months ago, Severn Trent Services Water Hygiene rebranded as Aqualytix to better reflect the long-term direction of the business.

‘Aqua’ represents expertise in water treatment and Legionella control – plus roots in the water industry. ‘Lytix’ represents harnessing data to transform the customer experience.

One year on, the business has gone from strength to strength – generating record profits – and has since acquired water treatment consultancy MA Solutions. The Aqualytix business makes a critical contribution to the success of the Severn Trent Services family of businesses, part of Severn Trent Plc.

‘CHEMO KID’ From Aqualytix Shares Cancer Story For Movember

Guy Hadland is the Head of Sales at Aqualytix, specialists in water treatment and Legionella control. But over the summer, he was nicknamed ‘Chemo Kid’ by fellow patients while being treated for stage 4 Hodgkin lymphoma.

 

For Movember – a month dedicated to men’s health awareness – Guy tells us how he overcame the physical and mental challenges associated with his cancer diagnosis and treatment. And how he felt when he saw the scan pictures that showed he was cancer-free.
